Bridget Wright and David Coambs created B&D Research and Development Inc. as a vehicle for their solutions to challenges in emergency care. This site focuses on the Safety Disconnect for Medical Lines (SDML).

The pair has decades of experience in pre-hospital emergency care. Their solutions are thoughtful, proactive, and more than simply affordable…they mean significant savings in every application.

Designed in the hands-on environment of ambulances, emergency rooms and care centres, B&D solutions are practical, industry-compatible and offer immediate improvement in patient care and safety.

In contrast to a niche device, the SDML will be used in myriad applications, eventually becoming as ubiquitous as seatbelts or syringes. While B&D has focused on the medical field, the device has applications anywhere fluid lines are used. As inventors, they have other concepts under development and wish to pursue their strengths as developers rather than marketers.

Coambs and Wright believe the SDML represents an excellent opportunity for investment and are prepared to see investors generously rewarded for their confidence and interest.

A Canadian company, B&D Research and Development Inc. is located in Central Alberta.
